Honors @ the Johnston Center
Meet distinguished Carolina alumni and campus visitors. Participate in arts and cultural events. Get to know professors as scholars and people. It’s all available at the Johnston Center for Undergraduate Excellence.
Honors Arts & Dialogue
Take an inside look at the performing arts at Carolina. Honors Carolina students receive free tickets to three extraordinary performances each semester and an opportunity to learn about the ideas behind the works on stage from the featured artists and distinguished Carolina faculty members.
Food for Thought
Enjoy a fine meal and take part in thought-provoking conversations with some of Carolina’s most distinguished faculty members through Honors Carolina’s intimate “Food for Thought” dinner events, typically held every two weeks throughout the year.
The Johnston Center for Undergraduate Excellence
Honors Carolina is located in the James M. Johnston Center for Undergraduate Excellence, situated in the heart of campus in Graham Memorial.
Small classrooms provide a perfect setting for Honors Carolina seminars and a comfortable lounge hosts programs that bring together undergraduate students and distinguished professors and University guests. (And the leather sofas are a great place to study.)
Students also come here to learn about undergraduate research, pursue distinguished scholarships, and take advantage of the Beasley Multimedia Center.
