Honors Arts Fellows

Fellows spend a year working alongside — and drawing inspiration from — world-renowned performing artists.

Each year, Carolina Performing Arts brings major artists to Carolina to perform original works and new takes on classic pieces. The Honors Arts Fellows work in a project team to engage with the works of visiting artists and document their own responses to the artists’ visions.

In 2012-2013, Fellows will engage with The Rite of Spring at 100, a year-long commemoration of all aspects of the groundbreaking performance in Paris in 1913. The year encompasses a multidisciplinary and global schedule, including eleven commissioned artistic performances and two major academic conferences

The Honors Arts Fellows is a collaboration of Honors Carolina and Carolina Performing Arts.
