Carol Hee is an associate professor at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Kenan-Flagler Business School where she teaches courses in corporate environmental strategy and sustainability and serves as faculty co-chair of the UNC Sustainability Advisory Committee. Her areas of expertise include life cycle assessment, sustainability strategic planning, sustainability reporting, and evaluation of corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Hee also serves as a sustainability strategy consultant to companies in a wide range of industries and to educators interested in incorporating sustainability into their teaching. Hee is co-chair of the annual NC Clean Tech Summit; and, with colleagues at UNC-Chapel Hill and the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore, is the recipient of an Obama-Singh 21st Century Knowledge Initiative Award.

Carol Hee received both a doctoral degree in marine biogeochemistry and masters of business administration from UNC-Chapel Hill. Hee is a competitive sculler and enjoys baking, gardening, and hiking with her dogs.
