The Fifth Year Experience is a mutual pledge between Honors Carolina and our alumni to stay connected beyond graduation. If you choose to join us in this commitment, please read the pledge below and provide your name and contact information so we can send you a gift!

As you start your life’s next adventure, the Honors Carolina program is committed to maintaining a strong and supportive relationship with you. At Honors Carolina, we pledge to provide resources and guidance to help you achieve your professional and personal goals, including:

Continued access to the GoAnywhere Platform, where you can network and communicate with over 14,000 Honors Carolina alumni and students.

Career coaching, mentorship and resume review via the GoAnywhere Platform.

Advising and endorsement for scholarships and fellowships through the Office of Distinguished Scholarships.

Yearly networking and social events for alumni.

An exclusive gift for signing the pledge and staying connected.
In return, we ask that you pledge to remain an active member of our community and give back to the University that has provided you with many opportunities. As an alumnus, you can give back to the Honors Carolina program in the following ways:

Provide office hours to speak to students interested in your field.

Offer a short-term project at your company to a student looking for experience.

Attend an Honors Carolina event in your city or here in Chapel Hill.

Hire or mentor students through the Go Anywhere platform.

Serve on one of the Honors Carolina Career Councils.
