PRIDE SpeakOut Alumni Conversation: Brennan Lewis

November 10, 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Join alumn Brennan Lewis (Fellow in Residence: Regional Manager, U.S. & Canada, Peace First) for an Honors Carolina PRIDE-sponsored conversation.

Brennan just completed their first year with Peace First, a non-profit organization empowering young people ages 13-25 to create a just and peaceful world by providing digital tools, community support, start-up funding, and stories that celebrate their journeys and impact. Through past experience with Equality North Carolina, the Human Rights Campaign, the Campaign for Southern Equality, the Trevor Project, and as founder of QueerNC, Brennan has honed their skills as a strong LGBTQ advocate and community organizer, dedicated to mobilizing young people to lead change globally. As a Robertson Scholar, a member of Honors Carolina, and a Will Froelich Honors Fellow at UNC, Brennan also found time to conduct research on LGBTQ Pride celebrations in small communities across the South (SomewhereQueer.com) and was named one of The Advocate magazine’s 104 Champions of Pride for 2019.

This event is sponsored by Honors Carolina.
