Did you know you can create with 3-D printers, circuit machines, button makers, power tools, and sewing machines, right on campus? Join HCSA as we learn how to Be A Maker via an Honors Carolina exclusive BeAM 101 Training session. This training will enable you to access the resources to build and create at UNC’s many makerspaces!

Before the live session, you’ll sign an online waiver and complete a short online module, which will enable us to maximize our time in Murray Hall and complete the hands-on, in-person BEAM 101 Session together. We’ll get a tour of the facilities, learn how to use popular tools, and start creating during our session. You’ll leave this workshop with your BeAM certification, which will enable you to use the BeAM facilities in the future and continue to build your skills!
