Mr. Boneparth is a full-time consultant specializing in branded retail and consumer products and serves as Chair of the Audit Committee of the Board for Jet Blue Airways as well as a member of the Compensation Committee of the board of Kohls Corporation. Mr. Boneparth is also a member of the board and consultant to A Southern Season, Its Sugar and Johnnie-O, three privately held companies in the consumer products and retail arena. From 2008-2013, Mr. Boneparth served as a senior advisor to Irving Place Capital Partners, a private equity firm specializing in the areas of retail, apparel and branded consumer products. Mr. Boneparth also served as the Chief Executive Officer of The Jones Apparel Group, a Fortune 500 corporation specializing in womens apparel and footwear from 2002-2007.  A member of Phi Beta Kappa, he earned his B.S. degree in 1980 from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, with a double major in Economics and Political Science, and his J.D. degree in 1984 from the University of Virginia. His wife, Heather, is Chair of the Honors Carolina Advisory Board and all three of their children are Tar Heels.
