Mr. Doyle is a Managing Director and co-founder of Horizon Kinetics LLC. He is a senior member of the research team, and a member of the Investment Committee and the Board of Directors. Mr. Doyle is the President and a Co-Portfolio Manager for Kinetics Mutual Funds, Inc., a series of U.S. open-end investment companies, and is the Portfolio Manager for several of the Firm’s separate account strategies.  He is also a Co-Portfolio Manager for the Firm’s U.S. and Cayman-based hedge funds.  Mr. Doyle is responsible for oversight of the Firm’s marketing and sales activities and is a senior officer of FRMO Corp, a publicly traded company.  Previously, Mr. Doyle was with Bankers Trust Company (1985-1994) as a Senior Investment Officer, where he also served on the Finance, Utility and REIT Research sub-group teams. Mr. Doyle received a BS from St. John’s University and an MBA from Fordham University.
