Carnegie Endowment for International Peace’s Junior Fellows Program: Application deadline

The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, one of the world’s leading think tanks specializing in international affairs, conducts programs of research, discussion, publication and education in international relations and U.S. foreign policy. The Junior Fellows Program at the Carnegie Endowment is designed to provide a substantive work experience for students and recent graduates who have a serious career interest in the area of international affairs.

Each year, 10-15 applicants are selected annually as Junior Fellows. These individuals work at the Carnegie Endowment on a full-time basis as paid research assistants for one year. Recent projects have involved democracy, nuclear policy, energy and climate, Middle East studies, Asian studies, Economics, and Russian studies.

Applications are judged on the quality of the written essay, related academic study and/or work experience, grades, recommendations, and personal interviews.
