Food for Thought: Miguel La Serna, Department of History

Miguel La Serna teaches Latin American history, with a focus on guerrilla insurgencies and counterinsurgencies. He has written extensively on the armed conflict in 1980s and 90s Peru and is the co-author (with Duke anthropologist Orin Starn) of The Shining Path: Love, Madness, and Revolution in the Andes (Norton, forthcoming 2019).
