Dr. Shah is currently the Service Line Vice President for the Premier Research Services at Premier Inc., the largest member-owned health care group purchasing organization in the country. Before his role with Premiere, Dr. Shah served as an Assistant Professor in both the Department of Medicine and the Duke Clinical Research Institute at Duke University as well as an adjunct role at the Duke University Fuqua School of Business. Dr. Shah remains on the faculty at Duke University School of Medicine and still sees patients within the Division of Cardiology. He previously served on the admissions committee to Duke Medical School. The workshop is open to Honors Carolina third and fourth year students applying to medical school.
