Schwarzman Scholars program: Final application deadline

September 15, 2016

The Schwarzman Scholars program, inspired by the Rhodes Scholarships, is designed to train future leaders to meet the challenges of the 21st century and beyond by preparing them to better understand China, its role in global trends and their role as future leaders.

Schwarzman Scholars will have an unrivaled opportunity to live in Beijing for a year of study and cultural immersion, attending lectures, traveling and developing first-hand exposure to China and its people. Scholars will develop their leadership skills through a one-year master’s degree in public policy, international studies, or economics and business at Tsinghua University, one of China’s most prestigious institutes of higher education.

Up to 200 individuals are chosen annually from around the world for this highly selective, fully-funded program. Those interested in applying for the Schwarzman Scholars program are strongly encouraged to attend an information session and meet with the director of the Office of Distinguished Scholarships (ODS) to learn more about the application process.
