Announcing the Honors Carolina Scholars, Class of 2030

We are pleased to welcome the newest cohort of Honors Carolina Scholars. In the coming Fall semester, they will join our community of 2,000 exceptionally talented undergraduate students who share a passion for learning and deep devotion to putting ideas to work in the world in ways that improve the lives of others.

Honors Carolina promises its students a guided journey toward a purposeful life and successful career. We fulfill this pledge by providing the mentorship and resources necessary to turn audacious ambitions into reality, whether that means groundbreaking research, social innovation, creative expression, or paths not yet imagined. Our objective is to raise up the next generation of thought leaders who refuse to accept the world as it is and possess both the intellectual rigor and moral courage to make it what it should be.

Honors Carolina Scholarships have been established by benefactors who believe in this mission and our University’s foundational commitment to academic excellence and service to the common good. Fundraising for these awards is ongoing. Additional information is available by contacting Sara Wajda, director of development for Honors Carolina.
