Gregg Adzema is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Cousins Properties, a NYSE-listed Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) headquartered in Atlanta, that develops, owns, and manages a 19 million square-foot trophy office portfolio in Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, Nashville, Tampa, and Phoenix. Mr. Adzema has spent most of his career in senior financial, investment and advisory roles in the commercial real estate industry. Immediately prior to joining Cousins, he served as Chief Investment Officer and Executive Vice President for two advisory and real estate firms in Charlotte. Mr. Adzema was also Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Summit Properties, a NYSE-listed apartment REIT. He received a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from Georgetown University.

Mr. Adzema will discuss various internship and career options for students interested in the commercial real estate industry. He will highlight different professional opportunities and outline what is needed to land them. He will also discuss current trends in the office market as companies struggle with changes brought on by the recent COVID pandemic and how these changes impact graduates entering the workforce.
