Dawn Osborne-Adams graduated with a BS in business administration from Georgetown University, JD from New York University (NYU) School of Law, and also holds a certificate in dispute resolution from the Straus Institute at Pepperdine University School of Law. Dawn began her career directing alternative dispute resolution for the U.S. District Court, Central District of California, the country’s largest federal trial court. In 2012 she joined Binghamton University where, as University Ombuds, she acted as the constructive problem-solving resource for students, faculty, staff, administrators, parents and the community. In 2014, Dawn joined Shell Oil Co., where she aided employees in developing constructive approaches to resolve workplace disputes, navigate ethical dilemmas, manage workplace conflicts and improve personal communication skills. This summer Dawn joined UNC-CH where she will serve as University Ombuds and Director of the University Ombuds Office.
