Larry graduated with a Master of Global Affairs from Schwarzman College at Tsinghua University in 2017 and a BSPH in Biostatistics from UNC in 2016. He has worked on a number of data-driven projects, including developing new metrics to assess PGA TOUR player and tournament value, a social entrepreneurship for sexual health (SESH) project in Guangzhou and Hong Kong, and a RTS,S/AS01 malaria vaccine efficacy study in Malawi. In addition to the Schwarzman, Larry won the Gates Cambridge, Churchill, and Goldwater fellowships. In his free time, Larry plays golf and tennis and cheers for the Tar Heels.
