Honors Carolina is pleased to announce that UNC young alumni working in finance are volunteering their time and expertise this semester to provide 1-on-1 conversations with you, via Zoom, to discuss careers in finance. You are invited to ask anything from general questions about the field, to specific interview prep questions, or you can use the opportunity to expand your network.

On Thursday, January 26, Brian Smith ‘17, Investment Banking Associate at J.P. Morgan, will discuss Preparing for Investment Banking Interviews, as well as your questions! Brian has worked at JP Morgan for nearly six years, joining the company in an analyst role upon graduation in 2017 and then moving into an associate role in 2020. Before joining J.P. Morgan, Brian held multiple summer internships, and he was involved on campus with the Kenan-Flagler Private Equity Fund, the Carolina Challenge, and the Undergraduate Finance Society. Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in business, where he graduated with distinction (Cum Laude) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
