Scientific Revolution: British Literature

Study the rise of modern science in early modern England and Europe, learning about pivotal inventions and discoveries ranging from the telescope to the circulation of the blood in the very places where they were first made. Witness the history of science and medicine in the Renaissance by exploring some of the world’s greatest museums, including the British Museum, the Ashmolean Museum, and the Galileo Museum, enjoying hands-on learning through collections and exhibitions. Enjoy the cultural richness of three different locations in two different countries, learning about the culture and history of the European Renaissance through its villas and palaces, its churches and colleges, its art and architecture, and its well-preserved squares and markets.
