London: Live. Work. Learn. Be.

Study at Carolina’s own Winston House on historic Bedford Square. Attend seminars in the shadow of the British Museum, conduct research at the British Library, and learn from professors who make London their home. Personalized internship opportunities are available in fields ranging from global finance to healthcare and the arts.

The Shuford Entrepreneurship Track is available to students who wish to complete the minor in entrepreneurship during their semester in London. Their program will start January 5 in Durham, NC for an intensive 2-week course prior to joining the rest of their London cohort on January 18.

Spring 2025
January 18 - April 26, 2025

The Honors Semester in London allowed me to build connections, grow personally, and develop professionally. The program’s structure allowed me to immerse myself into a new culture, intern at a London-based firm, and complete my minor in only one semester. During the program, the world truly turned into my classroom as I was able to explore London as a part of my courses. My experience abroad was exceptional, and I am glad that I took the leap to spend my semester with Honors Carolina abroad.

I never quite understood when people said “studying abroad changed my life” until I did it. Honors London gave me the opportunity to not only take classes in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, but also to have an internship while there and truly learn how to live and work in the city. Living in the heart of the city, you are walking distance from famous sights, beautiful neighborhoods, and London’s West End. It was truly the experience of a lifetime, and I am so happy that I chose to do it.
