Einstein Forum/Daimler and Benz Foundation Einstein Fellowship

The Einstein Fellowship offers 5-6 months of support for scholars in the humanities, social sciences, or natural sciences pursuing a project in a different field from that of their previous research. The Einstein Fellowship is not intended for applicants who wish to complete an academic study they have already begun, including dissertation research. The proposed project need not be entirely completed during the time of the fellowship, but can be the beginning of a longer project. The fellowship includes living accommodations in the garden cottage of Albert Einstein`s former summer house in Caputh, Brandenburg, with access to the universities and academic institutions of Potsdam and Berlin.

Eisenhower Global Scholars Program

Eisenhower Global Scholars will embark on an all-expenses-paid year of post-graduate study leading to a Master’s Degree in Public Policy with an emphasis on international diplomacy at the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford or a Master’s Degree in International Relations with an emphasis on the global economy and entrepreneurship at the School of Global and Public Affairs at IE University in Madrid.

The Elie Wiezel Prize in Ethics Essay Contest is open to junior and senior undergraduate students to explore their concerns and beliefs, their fears and their hopes. While  the foundation suggests relevant topics each year, applicants are encouraged to choose any subject they feel strongly about, provided it is related to the domain of ethics.

Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant for Artists

The mission of the Foundation is to promote and encourage the acquisition and development by students and artists of the necessary training, skills and competence in the traditional means of artistic expression. The Foundation provides financial assistance, by way of grants, to students and artists in the early or developmental stage of their career who work in a representational style of painting, drawing, sculpture or printmaking and demonstrate a commitment to making their art a lifetime career. Embassy of France Chateaubriand Fellowships in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics & Biology-Health (STEM)

for doctoral students aims to initiate or reinforce collaborations, partnerships or joint projects between French and American research teams. EMDR Foundation Sandra Wilson Memorial Doctoral Dissertation Grant for Mental Health Research

Grants support dissertation expenses related to research to study the effectiveness of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) in one of the following priority areas: advancing evidence based practice, addressing the global burden of trauma, and building clinical evidence. These priorities apply to research across the lifespan, so that a study might address, for example, adolescent addiction, or geriatric depression. The grant offers support for one year.
