Amelia Earhart Fellowship

The Amelia Earhart Fellowship was established in 1938 in honor of famed pilot and Zontian, Amelia Earhart. The US$10,000 Fellowship is awarded annually to up to 35 women pursuing Ph.D./doctoral degrees in aerospace engineering and space sciences. It may be used at any university or college offering accredited post-graduate courses and degrees in these fields.

American Academy in Rome Italian Fellowships

The American Academy in Rome offers three fellowships (two in the arts and one in the humanities) for Italian artists and scholars. The Italian Fellows are an integral part of the AAR community. Italian artists and scholars live and work in the Academy community, pursuing their own projects, participating in its collaborative, interdisciplinary environment, and help make connections between Rome Prize Fellows and their Italian peers.

American Antiquarian Society (AAS) / National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) – Long-Term Postdoctoral Fellowship

supports post-doctoral scholars use of the the AAS library’s resources and collections for research and writing. Fellows are expected to be in regular and continuous residence at the Society in Worcester, MA. They must devote full time to their study and may not accept teaching assignments or undertake any other major activities during the tenure of their award. The fellowships are for four to 12 months.

American Association of Cereal Chemists International (AACCI) Charles Becker Graduate Fellowship

The purpose of the fellowship program is to encourage graduate research in grain-based food science and technology. Research in such disciplines as genetics, horticulture, nutrition, microbiology, biochemistry, engineering, or chemistry is not eligible unless it is directly related to the student’s primary research program dealing with grain-based food science and technology-related areas.
