Incubator Awards: Research Grants for Creative Artists

The Incubator Awards provide students with $1,000-3,000 in funding to pursue creative projects that explore Wilson Library’s diverse collections. Recipients receive assistance from Wilson Library staff to complete work that will be presented at our annual Incubator Awards showcase. Student artists from any artistic discipline are invited to apply.

Indiana University of Pennsylvania Frederick Douglass Graduate and Postdoctoral Teaching Fellowships

The fellowship offers teaching opportunities to recent PhDs and graduate students who are pursuing careers as university faculty members and who are entering the final year of terminal degree and/or doctoral programs. Fellows will teach and/or co-teach one course during the summer sessions and/or the academic year, continue their research, and contribute to the life of the university. Fellows are sought whose research, teaching, or service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and inclusion. Applicants from diverse cultural backgrounds, especially those from historically underrepresented groups, are encouraged to apply. The fellowship is for up to one year.

Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) Graduate Research Internship in Science and Engineering (RISE) in India

Internships provide opportunities for science, technology, engineering and medical students from the United States to undertake internships in national laboratories, federal research centers, academic research institutes and private R&D laboratories in India. The objectives are for students to gain exposure to India’s science and technology milieu, gain practical skills and develop collaborative networks. The internships are for three months.

Institute for Public Relations (IPR) Grunig PRIME Summer Fellowship for Communications Research

supports communications, business, or public relations undergraduate and graduate students interested in applied public relations research including data collection, data analysis, interpretation of research results, and consultation. At the end of the experience, fellows are expected to produce a research paper intended for practitioners. Fellows will work at PRIME Research’s Ann Arbor, Michigan. The fellowship offers support for six weeks.
