American College of Healthcare Executives: Albert W. Dent Graduate Student Scholarship

Offered annually, the Albert W. Dent Graduate Student Scholarship is designated for racially/ethnically diverse students enrolled in their final year of a healthcare management graduate program. Each scholarship is worth $5,000.

American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Weiss Research Endowment

for applied rather than for basic research, with the intent of applying the results to programs involving physical activity and sports. The psychological and emotional benefits of physical activity are of particular importance to the benefactors of this endowment, and proposals addressing those issues will be given priority.

The American Comparative Literature Association (ACLA) offers nine annual prizes as well as grant and fee waivers. The American Comparative Literature Association, founded in 1960, is the principal learned society in the United States for scholars whose work involves several literatures and cultures as well as the premises of cross-cultural literary study itself.

American Concrete Institute (ACI) Graduate Scholarships and Fellowships

stipend and travel expenses for students in concrete-related graduate degree programs. Some fellowships require a 10-12 week internship to be conducted the summer before the first award year.  Fellowships offer support for one year, renewable for a second year.

American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) Pauline Yu Fellowship

The fellowship will be awarded annually to scholars who apply through the central ACLS Fellowship program. The program supports research projects whose ultimate goal is a major piece of scholarly work. Awards range from $40,000 to $70,000 (depending on career stage) and are intended as salary replacement to help scholars devote six to twelve months to teaching and writing.

American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) Postdoctoral Public Fellows Program

The ACLS Public Fellows Program places recent Ph.D.s from the humanities and humanistic social sciences in staff positions at partnering organizations in government and the nonprofit sector. Fellows participate in the substantive work of these organizations and receive professional mentoring. The Fellowship is for two years and its aim is to allow PhDs to gain career-building experience in fields such as public policy, development, conservation, arts and culture, and media.

American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) Robert H. N. Ho Family Foundation Dissertation Fellowship in Buddhist Studies

supports doctoral research that will offer a contribution to Buddhist studies. The fellowship period may be used for fieldwork, archival research, analysis of findings, or for writing after research is complete. There are no restrictions as to the location of research. The fellowship offers support for 10 consecutive months.
