Growing up in Greensboro, North Carolina, Allison Sprock was inspired by her Aunt Louise Allred’s artwork at a very young age, which triggered a lifelong passion for fine art. After graduating from St. Mary’s School in Raleigh, and then UNC-Chapel Hill, Allison lived in New York, Charlotte, Atlanta, and San Francisco before diving into the Charleston art scene. While living in New York, Allison was even offered a job at Christie’s Auction House, but eventually moved to the Lowcountry to pursue her lifelong passion. Before moving to Charlotte in 2011, she was a resident of Charleston for over six years. Allison has now brought her gallery to the Queen City. The laid-back gallery is full of breathtaking and eclectic work. Allison is always eager and enthusiastic to find the right painting for prospective buyers, and will even travel to the residences of potential clients in order to help them determine the best pieces for their home. As a wannabe artist, Allison enjoys all visitors to the gallery, even if they are just stopping by to sit down, relax, and enjoy the art.
