Honors Carolina is pleased to announce that professionals working in the technology industry are volunteering their time and expertise to engage in 1-on-1 conversations, via Zoom, to help you gain a better understanding of career options within the field. You are invited to ask anything from general questions about the field, to specific interview prep questions, or you can use the opportunity to expand your network.

On Wednesday, April 12 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm, Mike Reed 88 will discuss “Big vs. Small: the corporate path vs. startups” as it relates to the tech industry, well as your questions! Mike is a professor of the practice in UNC’s Computer Science department, and was recently the Engineering Director at Google Chapel Hill until starting up his latest venture. Mike specializes in computer graphics and holds an M.S. in Mathematics from UNC.
