Don Millen Jr. has over 25 years of experience in advising and investing in high-growth private and public businesses. Prior to founding Dragonfly Capital in 2000, he worked with Bowles Hollowell Conner & Co. (BHC), a Charlotte-based merger and acquisition boutique. Prior to BHC, Don worked in New York City at the investment bank Donaldson, Lufkin, & Jenrette advising both private equity groups and business management teams on various financing and M&A situations. He also served as a Tax Manager at Arthur Andersen in Atlanta. Don is a member of the Rotary Club of Charlotte and is on the Board of Directors of the Charlotte chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG). Don was an academic All-ACC linebacker at UNC. He earned his BA in economics as well as a Master of Accounting Degree at UNC at Chapel Hill. He earned his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. RSVP here.
