Phil Phillips has been in the finance industry for over 40 years. After more than 20 years at Merrill Lynch as Vice President and Municipal Bond Underwriter, Phillips transitioned to AllianceBernstein where he served as Principal and Senior Vice President of National Institutional sales for 17 years. In 2012, Phil joined JPMorgan Asset Management as Executive Director and Institutional Client Advisor. Post retirement, Phil serves as a Senior Advisor at Lease Pilot, a firm specializing in digitizing large real estate leases, with software exclusively engineered for commercial leasing. Phillips also serves on several boards, including the boards for NYC Friends of Nurse Family Partnership and Big Apple Greeters. Phillips has also been an early stage investor in several startups. A Carolina alumna, Phillips earned a B.A. in Political Science from UNC in 1975.
