Since graduating in 2018, Honors Carolina alumnus Alex Mebane has found creative ways to build a community and combine his personal interests with new professional pursuits. As a Clinical Research Assistant in the UNC School of Medicine, Alex has continually honed his bilingual skills, become a medical SafeZone facilitator, completed Mental Health first aid training, and maintained balance by finding new involvement with creative and fitness outlets. He plans to continue these endeavors while traveling abroad in Latin America next year!
