This is a program from the Department of EXSS that examines smart and connected teams through the sport of soccer in Spain. After 5 days in Madrid, the program will shift to Girona, before finishing with 2 1/2 weeks in Barcelona. Engagement with Real Madrid, FC Girona and FC Barcelona (including the Barcelona Innovation Hub) will serve as anchor points exploring innovation in the world of professional sports and the technologies, methodologies, and analytic approaches that connect data, people, and systems to enhance athlete health and performance.
