The Bonner Leaders Program

The Bonner Leaders Program accepts work-study students with demonstrated leadership potential and a demonstrated commitment to public service, providing an opportunity for them to engage in intensive community work supplemented by weekly capacity-building workshops and critical issues seminars.The service requirement is significant – more than 250 hours per year – and is complemented by weekly meetings, leadership workshops, and capacity building seminars. It is a campus-wide, interdisciplinary initiative involving both Student Affairs and Academic Affairs.

The British Academy: Newton International Fellowships

The Newton International Fellowships enable researchers to work for two years at a UK institution with the aim of fostering long-term international collaborations. The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals (CBYX)

The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals (CBYX) is open to candidates between the ages of 18½–24, in all career fields, who are interested in a year of academic, professional, and cultural exchange. The program consists of: Two months of intensive German language training, one semester of classes in one’s academic or career field at a university, technical or professional school, and three-month internships in one’s career field. Includes travel costs, insurance, housing, study, and stipend.

The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI)-United Health Foundation (UHF) Scholar Intern Program

helps students pursuing health-related careers receive scholarship funds as well as hands-on experience through a paid internship at a community-based health organization.Students are required to secure their own placement at a local community-based health organization. Upon completion of 80 hours of internship work, scholars receive a stipend in addition to their scholarship.
