covers 100% of workshop tuition, meals and housing for a one-week workshop. The scholarship is for returning or disabled soldiers, or a financially deserving student who is pursuing woodturning. Open to all skill levels

Asian Cultural Council Travel Grant

Open to individuals (or two collaborators) seeking modest financial support for travel of less than one month. Applicants may also apply in this category for longer-term projects that have other sources of funding and require additional funding only for travel-related expenses. Because ACC prioritizes immersive cultural exchange, short-term travel proposals should make a compelling case for in-depth engagement and/or sustained impact beyond the proposed trip.

Asian Cultural Council: Graduate Scholarship

ACC gives a small number of scholarships each year to students who have been admitted to a graduate degree program in the U.S. in an eligible field. This funding may be used for travel and living expenses, but it will not be sufficient to cover full tuition costs.

Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS) Fellowship

provides graduates and young professionals with an opportunity to work on policy issues as staff members in a congressional office. The program aims to build leadership skills, encourage political civic engagement, and foster a strong interest in public service careers. Offers a living stipend and health insurance, a mentorship program, access to the APAICS Alumni Network, and professional development opportunities throughout the year.

Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS) Internship

eight-week program that provides undergraduate students with the opportunity to work in Washington. D.C., and experience American politics and public policy. APAICS interns are placed in U.S. congressional offices and federal agencies. The program develops leadership and professional skills, encourages political and civic engagement, and fosters a strong interest in public service careers. Includes stipend and airfare.
