Cancer Research Institute Irvington Postdoctoral Fellowship

Fellowships support and train young scientists who wish to receive training in cancer immunology to carry out hypothesis driven, mechanistic studies in both immunology and tumor immunology with the potential to directly impact our understanding of the immune system’s role in cancer risk, tumor initiation, progression, metastasis, host response to tumors and/or the treatment of cancer. The fellowship is for three years.

Carolina for Kibera: Peacock Fellows Program

The 2021 CFK Peacock Fellow will join the organization during a critical moment in the organization’s growth and produce a range of multimedia deliverables to promote CFK’s 20th Anniversary in 2021. The fellow may support additional CFK communications including website updates, social media, and blog posts. The fellow will have the option to work remotely and/or in CFK’s office in the FedEx Global Education Center depending on coronavirus-related restrictions.  This is a paid position with the option for domestic and international travel dependent on COVID restrictions.

Caroline and Erwin Swann Foundation for Caricature and Cartoon Fellowship

Graduate and postgraduate fellowship for support of ongoing scholarly research and writing projects in the field of caricature and cartoon. Fellows are required to make use of the Library’s extensive collections, be in residence for at least two weeks during the award period, and deliver a public lecture on his/her work-in-progress at that time. Each recipient must also provide a copy of their dissertation, thesis, or postgraduate publication, upon its completion, for the Swann Foundation Fund files.

Cave Research Foundation (CRF) Philip M. Smith Graduate Research Grant

Grants support graduate student research in cave and karst studies leading to either a master’s or doctoral degree. Proposals may be in any field of the earth, natural or social sciences as long as the research addresses topics relate to caves or karst. Additional funding may be available for projects that show a creative merging of two or more scientific disciplines. The grant offers support for one year.
