Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art Tyson Scholars Program

Fellowships support full-time residential scholarship in the history of American art, visual and material culture from the colonial period to the present. Tyson Scholars have access to the art and library collections of Crystal Bridges in Bentonville, Arkansas, as well as the library at the University of Arkansas in nearby Fayetteville. Scholars will have the opportunity to interact with Crystal Bridges’ curatorial and research staff, as well as the community, through lectures, symposia, and collaborations with the University of Arkansas. The fellowship offers support for six weeks to ninbe months.

Cultural Vistas Journalism in the Era of Disinformation Fellowship

A week-long program in Washington, D.C. and New York, which will focus on political coverage in the U.S. and Germany and analyze the trend of “fake news”. By exchanging ideas and analyzing the similar ways disinformation is seen in the media of both countries, the group of journalists will come up with solutions for counteracting this trend.

D. Kim Foundation for the History of Science and Technology in East Asia Graduate and Postdoctoral Fellowships & Travel Grant

Fellowships and grants to support graduate students and young scholars who are working in the history of science and technology in East Asia from the beginning of the 20th century, regardless of their nationality, origins or gender. Comparative studies of East Asia and the West as well as studies in related fields (mathematics, medicine and public health) are also welcome. Fellows carry out their work at a host institution by their own arrangement. Fellowships are for 6-12 months.

DAAD EMGIP-Bundestag Internship

offers paid internship opportunities for U.S. and Canadian undergraduate and Master’s students in the German parliament, the Bundestag. The internships are two months long and we try to match the position with the student’s interests and experiences.  In addition to contributing to the respective offices, interns have the opportunity to study legislative and administrative procedures in the German parliament. Requires fluency in German.  For students in fields such as political science, international relations, law, history, economics or German.
