Priority for the Research Grants for Graduate Students will be given to TOEFL YSS-related research or foundational research related to young students of English as a Foreign Language (EFL).

Educational Testing Services (ETS) Harold Gulliksen Psychometric Research Fellowship

During the summer, selected fellows are required to participate in the Summer Internship Program in Research for Graduate Students, working under the guidance of an ETS mentor. During the subsequent academic year, fellows study at their universities and carry out research under the supervision of an academic mentor and in consultation with their ETS mentor with the goal of  increasing the number of well-trained scientists in educational assessment, psychometrics and statistics.

Edward F. Albee Foundation Short-Term Residential Fellowships for Writers and Visual Artists

The Edward F. Albee Foundation exists to serve writers and visual artists from all walks of life, by providing time and space in which to work without disturbance. The Foundation maintains the William Flanagan Memorial Creative Persons Center (better known as “The Barn”) in Montauk, on Long Island in New York, as a residence for writers and visual artists of all media. Residencies are for 4-6 weeks between mid-May and mid-October.

Egg Nutrition Center and American Egg Board (ENC-AEB) Young Investigator Research Award for Early Exploration

The fellowship supports students and post-doctoral fellows in producing preliminary research results that will support future studies or enhance the scope of current research projects beyond funding limits. Examples of the types of projects include proof-of-concept studies, pre-clinical data, secondary data analysis from clinical trials, and development of research methodology. The fellowship is for one year. Funding can be used for research supplies, and travel to present at a national meeting.
