Grass Foundation Summer Fellowship in Neuroscience

Fellowships support investigator-designed, independent research projects by scientists early in their career. Supported approaches include neurophysiology, biophysics, integrative neurobiology, neuroethology, neuroanatomy, neuropharmacology, systems neuroscience, cellular and developmental neurobiology, and computational approaches to neural systems. The Foundation also has a longstanding interest in epilepsy-related research. The fellowship offers support for 14 weeks.

Hadassah-Brandeis Institute Gilda Slifka Internship Program

stipend and housing provided for an internship program for undergraduate and two graduate students with a demonstrated interest in women’s studies, Jewish women’s studies or topics related to Jewish women/Jewish gender issues around the world. Interns assist HBI-affiliated scholars and Brandeis offices with research and administrative tasks. Includes weekly outings to research archives and places of Jewish interest, and discussions with Jewish studies and gender studies scholars. Each intern is expected to produce a work — an academic paper, a short story, a website, an art work — that is original and personally meaningful, and draws on creative and intellectual energies
