Scholarships

The scholarship supports a graduate student in food science. Recipients also complete a 12-week summer internship at General Mills in Minneapolis, MN.

Scholarships and fellowships support undergraduate and graduate industrial engineering students members of IIE.

NOTE: Students may not apply directly for any scholarships. They must be nominated by Industrial Engineering department heads or faculty advisors. Nominations must be submitted to the Institute headquarters by the application deadline

The Fellowship supports dissertation research in China. Fellowships are designed to promote research in China studies and sinology. Fellows may conduct research at one of 15 participating universities in China. Fellows pursue their own research in collaboration with faculty at the host institution, and they have the opportunity to further develop their Chinese language skills throughout the fellowship period. The Fellowship is for six months to two years

IAF Fellowships support dissertation field research in Latin America and the Caribbean (except for Cuba) on topics relating to grassroots development. Fellows examine the efforts of the rural and urban poor to improve their lives, their methods of organization and production, and the policies and programs designed to alleviate their poverty. The Fellowships are for 4 to 12 months.

Fellowships support graduate students committed to teaching. The goal is to produce persons capable of making reasoned choices in favor of liberty. The fellowships offer support for one year.

The award is given to a student conducting graduate research in statistics, mathematical modeling, data analysis, and/or quantitative decision support that advances understanding and management of Great Lakes ecosystems

awarded to deserving graduate students conducting research pertaining to Great Lakes fisheries.

The IAGLR Scholarship is awarded annually to promising Ph.D. students whose dissertation research is likely to make a significant contribution to the understanding of large lakes.

Fellowships support first-generation doctoral students working on a dissertation related to ICRW’s mission to empower women, advance gender equality and fight poverty. Main thematic focus areas include violence, rights and inclusion; women’s economic empowerment; and global health, youth and development.. The award is for one year.
