Josephine de Karman fellowships are dissertation completion fellowships open to PhD students in any discipline for one academic year. Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship

Fellowships support early-career scientists who wish to conduct mentored research under the guidance of a sponsor who can provide a training environment conducive to beginning a career in type 1 diabetes-relevant research. The sponsor does not necessarily need to have a background in diabetes, but the research project must be type 1 diabetes-related. Applicants are encouraged to submit projects aligned with JDRF Research Priority Areas. Fellows must devote at least 75% of their effort to the project outlined in the fellowship proposal. The fellowship offers support for up to three years.

Kanders Churchill Scholarship / Cambridge Master’s in Public Policy

The Winston Churchill Foundation of the United States launched the Kanders Churchill Scholarship in Science Policy in 2017, for attendance at Churchill College, University of Cambridge. The Kanders Churchill Scholarship was created to address the growing divide between science and science policy.

The Kanders Churchill Scholar will hold a bachelor’s degree (either as a major or minor concentration) in science, mathematics, or engineering, and will attend the Cambridge Master’s in Public Policy

Kenyon College Marilyn Yarbrough Dissertation Completion/Teaching Fellowship
