Scholarships

The Gina M. Finzi Memorial Student Summer Fellowship Program was developed to cultivate an interest in lupus research among young scientists and supports mentored basic, clinical, translational, epidemiological, or behavioral research at North American institutions. This fellowship is for one summer.

Grants support short-term travel to the LBJ Presidential Library for graduate student and postdocs working in the fields of public policy and governmental affairs. The LBJ Library offers access to historical documents, photos, and recordings from President Johnson’s political career.

a tuition scholarship to a qualified woman, an emerging artist who would like to further her skills with a course in still photography (preferably documentary, landscape, or portraiture).  Application by portfolio.

ssist talented teens to advance their love of photography by attending one of the many programs offered in Maine Media’s Young Artist Program.

scholarships to attend Book Arts curriculum.

scholarships specific to teens from a culturally or ethnically under-represented background for workshops. Applicants are likely to be recent immigrants.

A variety of generous scholarships to attend photography workshops

Several scholarships to fund tuition to workshops. Three scholarship offered for a “Full Ride,” which includes tuition, room and board, and travel expenses.

The Society supports graduate students whose research relies heavily on original manuscripts. The grant may be used for research expenses directly related to use of original manuscripts, for example travel to manuscript repositories, photocopies, and user fees. The grant is not renewable.
