The Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund provides scholarships each year to deserving students who have a commitment to service in the Latino community. Students must be in their first, second or third year of law school.

The Michel David-Weill Scholarship  covers the cost of tuition and living expenses during a two-year master’s program at Sciences Po, an international research university which specializes in the social sciences and offers multidisciplinary programs taught in English and French. The scholarship is awarded each year to one American student who exemplifies the core values embodied by Michel David-Weill: academic excellence, leadership, multiculturalism, tolerance and high achievement.

The Mickey Leland Energy Fellowship (MLEF) Program provides students with educational opportunities to gain real-world, hands-on research experience with the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Fossil Energy. The MLEF program was created in 1995 with the goal of improving opportunities for underrepresented and minority students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. The Microsoft Research Ph.D. Fellowship has supported hundreds of fellows over the last two decades, many of whom have gone on to work within the Microsoft Research organization. Others have gone on to perform pioneering research elsewhere within the technology industry or accept faculty appointments at leading universities.

Microsoft awards tuition and conference scholarships each year to encourage students to further their learnings in Computer Science and related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) disciplines. Recipients for the scholarship will be awarded in recognition of their demonstrated passion for technology, academic excellence, and leadership while working to push the software industry forward.

The MENAR Fellowship Program facilitates intercultural exchange by coordinating fellowships for recent American college graduates with non-profit organizations and businesses in the Middle East.

Merit-based scholarships for conference that gathers together emerging writers to work closely with a diverse and talented faculty. For 10 days in August, conference attendees experience the intensity—and challenge—of working under the guidance of notable writers, including MacArthur Fellows, U.S. poets laureate, and recipients of the Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award. The conference’s rural and scenic setting amid the Green Mountains on the Middlebury College Bread Loaf campus provides an ideal environment for discussing manuscripts, sharing insights, getting to know agents and editors, and becoming acquainted with the next generation of significant writers.
