NC Reach

NC Reach is a state-funded scholarship offered to undergraduate students who have aged out of the state foster care system at 18 or were adopted from the NC foster care system after the age of 12. Scholarship and support for up to 4 years of undergraduate study at NC public universities and community colleges.

NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship

awarded to student-athletes who excel academically and athletically and who are at least in their final year of intercollegiate athletics competition. All former student-athletes who earned an undergraduate degree from an NCAA member school are eligible to be nominated by that school for an NCAA graduate degree scholarship, regardless of when they received their undergraduate degree. Must enroll in a graduate degree granting program on a part- or full-time basis at an academically accredited graduate or degree-granting professional school.

New Israel Fund Shatil Social Justice Fellowship

The NIF/Shatil Social Justice Fellowship is a one-of-a kind 10 month experience where fellows spend 4 days a week on the front lines of social change in Israel at a premiere Israeli non-governmental (NGO) social change organization. Fellows will identify one of the following NIF core issue areas on which they would like to work: Safeguarding Human Rights and Democratic Institutions, Shared Society and Combating Racism, Palestinian Society, Social and Economic Justice, or Religious Freedom.

New York City Urban Fellows Program

The Urban Fellows Program is a highly selective, nine-month fellowship that combines work in Mayoral offices and City agencies with volunteer service opportunities and a seminar series that explores current urban issues impacting public policy. The program is designed to introduce a diverse group of America’s finest college students and graduates to local government and public service. Program participants come from all over the country to work in New York City.

Newcastle Scholarships for Epilepsy themed Masters

Offers 6 scholarships to cover home tuition fees for an epilepsy-themed Masters course, aligned either to Masters of Research in Neuroscience or Computing (Computer Science). The course would have a special focus upon epilepsy neuroscience, including pathological mechanisms, seizure prediction, and intervention to prevent seizures.

NIH MD/PhD Partnership Training Program

The NIH MD/PhD Partnership Training Program enables students to pursue a career as a physician-scientist while taking advantage of unique opportunities and resources at the NIH, including the NIH Clinical Research Center. Since the NIH is not a degree-granting institution, this program is a partnership between US medical schools for the MD phase of training and university doctoral programs through the NIH Graduate Partnerships Program for the PhD phase of training. Most scholars in the NIH MD/PhD Partnership Training Program choose to participate in the NIH Oxford-Cambridge Scholars Program for the PhD phase of their training.
