Rotch Travelling Scholarship

annual two-stage design competition that results in one person, deemed the Rotch Scholar, traveling the world for at least six months studying architecture. In the first stage of the selection process, a weekend-long preliminary design competition is held. Finalists from this competition go on to compete in the second stage, a 10-day competition culminating in a design presentation to a distinguished jury in Boston.

Roy Scrivner Memorial Research Grants

Ruth Benedict Prize

Presented yearly by the Association for Queer Anthropology to acknowledge excellence in a scholarly book written from an anthropological perspective about a topic that engages issues and theoretical perspectives relevant to LGBTQ studies. The Prize is awarded in each of two separate categories, one for a single-authored monograph and another for an edited volume. Submissions may be self-nominated or may be sent by a press or another person.

SABLA Summer Arabic Language Immersion

Sabla is an intensive language and cultural immersion program for American undergraduate and graduate students. For five weeks each summer, students from across the U.S. can study Arabic at SQCC on scholarship. All applicants are required to have completed at least two semesters of Arabic at a college or university in the United States by the start of the program.

Scotland’s Saltire Scholarships is a program of scholarships offered by the Scottish Government in collaboration with Scottish universities in the areas of science, technology, creative industries, healthcare, and medical sciences, and renewable and clean energy.
