Honors Carolina is pleased to announce that professionals working in the technology industry are volunteering their time and expertise to engage in 1-on-1 conversations, via Zoom, to help you gain a better understanding of career options within the field. You are invited to ask anything from general questions about the field, to specific interview prep questions, or you can use the opportunity to expand your network.

On Thursday, April 13 from 4:00 – 5:00 pm, Sam Trachtenberg ‘94 will discuss Breaking into the Tech Industry (Beyond Coding Roles), as well as your questions! Sam has a range of experience in the tech industry, from large companies to Silicon Valley startups, and most recently, early-stage startup consulting. Sam spent the first five years of his career at Accenture, and has held business operations roles at Autodesk, The Gap, First Republic Bank, Cisco, eBay, and Matillion. Now Sam specializes in coaching tech founders to launch and scale their companies. Sam holds a BS in Business Administration from UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
