Located in the vibrant and culturally-significant city of Nanjing, the Hopkins-Nanjing Center provides an authentic Chinese experience for graduate students who seek to study, discuss, and debate some of the most important issues faced by the world today, all while advancing their Chinese language skills. Must be proficient in Mandarin Chinese.

Through the HORIZONS Scholarship, Women In Defense encourages women to pursue careers related to the national security and defense interests of the United States and to provide development opportunities to women already working in national security and defense fields.

he Fund supports graduate study for African artists and scholars in the humanities and social sciences with an award to defray educational costs. The Fellowship is for one year.

Grants are intended to promote projects which have social policy application at the global or local level. The grants are for one year.

Fellowships support non-degree research at Hosei University under the direction of and/or in cooperation with Hosei faculty and researchers. Research areas include those studies in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, or engineering as deemed acceptable by Hosei. Fellowships offer support for six months.

Grants support doctoral candidates conducting research that concentrates on photography. The recipient of the grant may use the funds for travel, for research materials, or to set aside time to write.

Scholarships support graduate research and study that will enhance understanding of the culture, heritage, language and civilization of Iran. The scholarship offers support for one year.

1 graduate student will receive $1,000 towards research in social sciences. Asian Heritage preferred, but not required.

Fellowships support graduate students conducting research on the Hudson River system.

 this program provides a summertime grant and research funds for eight college students (undergraduate and graduate) to conduct research on the Hudson River. The objectives of the program are to gather important information on all aspects of the River and to train students in conducting scientific studies and public policy research.
