Dr. Carol Arnosti is a UNC professor in the Marine Sciences department, holding degrees from MIT and Lawrence University. Dr. Arnosti has worked on 29 research cruises in the North Atlantic, Pacific, and Arctic Oceans, in coastal North Carolina, and the Gulf of Mexico. She also spent one month at McMurdo Station in Antarctica. Her research interest is in microbial-driven carbon cycling in the ocean. Dr. Arnosti is known for her engaging teaching style and many stories about her travels and research in the Arctic and Antarctic. Join us for a Food for Thought Dinner with Dr. Arnositi.
