Program Benefits

The Will Fellows Program gives you the freedom and flexibility to plan your own learning experiences by providing tools, resources, and encouragement to help you pursue your dreams.

Will Fellows receive a $7,500 award to explore and engage the world. You can use your fellowship funds to study abroad, support an internship opportunity, engage in public service, work with faculty members on research projects, or create your own project — whatever fuels your passion.

In addition, the program provides personal support through events and activities where Fellows share experiences, build strong relationships, and inspire one another.

Monthly Events

Will Fellows take part in a team-building retreat

The Will Fellows Program hosts monthly events where students network and socialize while learning useful skills. Events include service projects, sessions on study abroad opportunities, and career workshops to develop more effective resumes and LinkedIn profiles.

Leadership Development

Each class of Will Fellows includes leadership roles such as ambassadors, social media managers, and event planners who assist with programming and program promotion.

Mentoring

Our mentoring program pairs first- and second-year Will Fellows with juniors and seniors. The upper-class students provide guidance and input on everything from navigating campus life to developing strong fellowship projects.

“Right from the start, I found a strong community in the Will Fellows Program through social events, workshops, and more. Throughout the year, the various events allow Will Fellows opportunities for growth in which close relationships develop. Being a leader within this program has been a transformational experience. I am incredibly grateful to have the privilege to be a part of the Will Fellows program.”
