Program Highlights

Over the course of a four-week immersion in London, students will learn about the popular schools of psychotherapy, including their historical context, techniques, theoretical underpinnings, and research support. London provides an exciting historical context, from why talk therapy was revolutionary to Freud’s final offices. It also gives us a chance to see how psychotherapy can be integrated into a centralized national health agency that stands in contrast with the relatively unregulated world of psychotherapy in the USA. Excursions, guest lecturers, and site visits will be interwoven throughout including the Bethlem Museum of the Mind and the Freud Musuem.
