Program Highlights

Students meet with club management to understand the real workings of pro soccer teams. In addition, students work in small groups with partners like Salford City and ManCity Women’s to solve specific commercial challenges. Finally, students interview low division women’s clubs to identify biggest pain points and rapid prototype solutions for clubs to test. UNC students will work alongside UA92 students from Manchester on these projects. The program will attend Premier League matches, Women’s Super League and League 2 matches when available. Students may undertake an optional virtual internship in preparation for this program based on the project success. Group excursions to comparable cities like Liverpool and others will be included throughout the program!
