Minor in Entrepreneurship

Program Highlights

Complete your minor in entrepreneurship in one semester while participating in an internship with an innovative organization. This program combines virtual communities of UNC students taking classes while sharing their experiences in entrepreneurial internships in a variety of industries. We will explore startup communities and ecosystems in New York City and in London. The Shuford Honors Seminar on Entrepreneurship allows students to live and work while taking remote classes together.

Past internships have included startups in:

  • Tech
  • Finance
  • Public health
  • Communications
  • And more!

Courses offered in this seminar represent the core of the Minor in Entrepreneurship. The seminar is open to students with a 3.0 GPA, who are at least of sophomore status, and who have completed or are enrolled in the minor’s mandatory gateway course, ECON 125 (Introduction to Entrepreneurship), or with instructor permission.
